Love inspires our imagination
Why does a simple chemical do this?
We search for it with determination
If a love fails, the heart is an abyss
I cannot count the poems, books, and songs
Where the main topic is love. It seems though
If one does not care, they do not belong
Everyone would like thier own Romeo
The reason everyone is addicted
Is because love brings out the best in us
Those in love have their perspectives shifted
And are much happier, which is a plus
Being in love can make both people grow
And the effects are like a domino
I really like the fact that you critiqued love instead of the conventional love story, it makes it interesting and is a good way to communicate your opinion. I also think the last lines" Being in love can make both people grow. And the effects are like a domino" are really strong and flow well (the rhyme doesn't seem forced)
