I am from my sister's blanket
And wanting my fire
Picking up a tennis racket
And having arrogant desires
I am from piano lessons
And playing wrong nots
To learning the violin
And the horrid screeeech, ehrwg
I am from lunch bunch
And speech class
To lunch breaks
And a bus pass
I am from repetitive games of house
And thousands of skits
To ceaceless shouts
And a little too much wit
I am from Vanillabean and Hilltop
Sticky fingers and a chocolate coated face
To a shiny silver spoon
And a pristine clean plate
I am from awaited superbowls
And chicken wings
To tofu things
And strange fussball goals
I am from mini ski hills
And winter chills
To terrifying terrains
And pouring rain
I am from sudden chances
And unfortunate circumstances
To yearning sighs
And seemingly endless goodbyes
I love the flow of your poem and the rhyming.
ReplyDeleteI love the ending.

I like that you are integrating food in your poem. Food is saying a lot about you personality. Your rhymes and vocabulary choice was good as well .
ReplyDeleteI liked the fact that you tried to have rhymes everywhere and it is really clear.
