agree, disagree - Billie Tyrell

1.     The punishment for murder should always be death.

-       disagree because nobody deserves to die for whatever reason. If you are mad at this person for killing someone it would be wrong to kill him if you know how it feels like to be hurt.

2.     Teenagers cant understand what true love really is.

-       strongly disagree because we are also normal human beings with feelings inside us.  No matter what age you are, we know how it feels like to be in love.

3.     Killing someone in revenge for killing a close friend of yours is okay.

-       disagree because I understand that you feel like killing this person for what he has done to your friend but you would be just as bad as the murderer if you killed him for revenge.

4.     Good friends should stick together at all times no matter how wrong a friend may be.

-   strongly disagree because everyone has the right for their own opinion, whether you’re friends or not.  If your friend starts hurting you several times and doesn’t stop, there is no reason for you to still be friends with him/her.

5.     Parents should make the decisions about their children’s lives.

-       disagree because everybody is living their own life and should be able to decide themselves how you want you’re life to be.  I think parents can have some rules like having curfews etc. to show you whats wrong or right. But the future is up to yourself.

6.     It is possible to fall in love at first sight.

-       disagree because everybody knows that you can be totally wrong in judging a person by seeing him for the first time. I believe you can already start having feelings for this person when seeing him for the first time, but there is no love at first sight.

7.     Telling lies or hiding the truth is acceptable for the right reasons.

-       neutral because sometimes it is defiantly the best to lie to a friend instead of hurting him/her but on the other hand it might hurt just as much when you find out he/she was lying to you.

8.     Family feuds only affect adults.

-       disagree because we belong to the family and if something is going on we automatically feel integrated as well. 

9.     There are times when arranged marriage is appropriate.

-       Strongly disagree because I believe that the most important thing in life is to be happy in your relation ship. If you’re not happy in that, you’re not happy with your life.  No matter what your situation is, forced marriage is never the solution.

10. Each person has a soul mate.

- agree because practically everybody ends up with someone in the end unless they decide for themselves that there are happier alone.
